SHAWNEE, Kan. – Businessman and independent Senate candidate Greg Orman today launched his “Breaking the Gridlock” campaign tour with events in Shawnee, Lawrence, Topeka, Junction City, Salina, North Newton and Newton.
“Kansas is at a crossroads,” Orman said. “This year we have a chance to make history, break the gridlock, and make Washington work for Kansas families again”
Today started with canvas rallies in Shawnee and Lawrence. From there Orman will meet with voters at events in Junction City, Salina, North Newton and Newton.
Sunday he will bring the “Breaking the Gridlock” tour to stops in Wichita and Johnson County.
On Friday Orman released “Breaking the Gridlock: Real Solutions to Move America Forward” – a common sense positive agenda to put an end to the gridlock in Washington and finally put Washington to work solving problems for the people of Kansas and this country with rallies in Topeka and Kansas City.
“We are offering voters a positive, forward-looking agenda that focuses on their needs – not the needs of political parties or the special interests that fund them,” Orman said.
