BUSINESSMAN GREG ORMAN TAKES INDEPENDENT SENATE CAMPAIGN TO CENTRAL KANSAS

Talks to Voters About Fixing Broken System in Washington, Ending Political Gridlock

SHAWNEE, Kan.— Businessman Greg Orman today took his independent Senate campaign to Central Kansas – with stops in Hays, Ellsworth and Manhattan – where he met with groups of voters to talk about his message that Washington is broken and it’s time to elect a problem solver who will represent the best interests of Kansas, rather than playing the same tired political games.

Christine Zouzas met with Greg at a meet and greet at a small business in Ellsworth and liked what she heard.

“I’m very happy to have met and listened to Greg,” Zouzas said. “Having heard him answer our questions has left me more impressed with him and his campaign. I'm confident he can get something done for Kansans in Washington.”

Manhattan Republican Bill Richter thought Greg’s answers were clear, detailed and to the point.

"Greg did a great job answering every question posed to him here today and laying out a plan for effective leadership for our state,” Richter said.

Orman said his meetings with Kansans on the campaign trail convince him they are responding to his message that if we are going to change what’s broken in Washington, it’s time to elect a problem solver who won’t owe anything to either party or the special interests.

“People in Kansas know we need to fix what’s broken in Washington and end the party infighting so we can get to work solving the real problems our nation faces,” Orman said. “That’s why Kansans of all political parties – Republicans, Democrats and Independents – are joining our independent campaign for Senate.”
