Independent U.S. Senate candidate Greg Orman to submit ballot petitions to Secretary of State

SHAWNEE, Kan. — Olathe businessman and entrepreneur Greg Orman, the Independent candidate running for U.S. Senate, will hold a press conference on Monday, July 28 at 11 a.m. CT on the south steps of the State Capitol in Topeka to announce he’s collected the requisite 5,000 signatures of registered Kansas voters to qualify him for the general election ballot.

Mr. Orman’s announcement will come a week ahead of the Aug. 4 deadline for submitting the ballot petitions, which Orman and campaign supporters will hand deliver to the Secretary of State’s office following the press conference.

All members of the news media are invited and encouraged to attend.
