SHAWNEE, Kan. — Olathe businessman and entrepreneur Greg Orman, the Independent candidate for U.S. Senate, has scheduled stops in Great Bend and McPherson for Friday as part of his “Problem Solving Tour” featuring more than a half-dozen public service projects.

Mr. Orman kicked off the eight-day, 18-stop bus tour Monday from his campaign headquarters in Shawnee, where he also released details of a Congressional reform plan to put an end to partisan extremism in Washington.

The tour’s first three days included stops in Lawrence, Topeka, Manhattan, Salina, Hays, Colby and Garden City, and had scheduled events for Thursday in Dodge City and Hugoton.

On Friday Mr. Orman will begin the day with a public service project at the Dodge City Campus of Youthville, an organization that specializes in foster care, counseling and residential services for hundreds of Kansas children.
