SHAWNEE, Kan. – Businessman and independent Senate candidate Greg Orman today released his newest campaign ad “Choice,” featuring excerpts from his powerful speech – delivered last Wednesday at the Combat Brands warehouse in Lenexa – where he asked Kansans to declare their independence from Washington’s broken political system.
“I do not intend to be a silent soldier for either the Democrats or Republicans,” Orman promises Kansans in the ad. “This election is between preserving a broken political system or choosing a new kind of politics.”
The ad highlights Orman’s independence from what’s broken in Washington versus Sen. Roberts and the outside special interests who support him with millions in campaign cash and false attack ads, intent on preserving the dysfunction in Washington.
“Kansans know Washington is broken and that after 47 years in Washington, Senator Roberts – when he bothers to show up to work at all – is part of the problem,” Jonas said. “Kansans want a leader who will go to Washington to solve problems, not play the same, tired political games. That’s why they’re choosing businessman Greg Orman – because he has a proven track record of creating jobs, growing businesses, and actually solving problems.”

Transcript: (Greg Orman speaking.) “I do not intend to be a silent soldier for either the Democrats or Republicans. This election is between preserving a broken political system or choosing a new kind of politics. You can’t turn on your TV without seeing the broken system attacking me. They are not trying to stop me. They are trying to stop you. The real threat to their power is you—the people of Kansas. It’s time to declare our independence. Don’t vote for me. Vote for yourselves and vote for your children’s future.
“I’m Greg Orman and I approve this message.”
