Kansas City, MO – Independent Senate candidate Greg Orman sat down this morning with radio station KCUR’s “Up to Date” host Steve Kraske and answered questions from both Kraske and his audience on a variety of topics. Orman gave clear answers on a variety of issues, as he did last week when he spoke with the Kansas City Star’s editorial board.
Orman was prepared to go on the show and debate his opponent Senator Roberts, but - as KCUR noted - Roberts “did not respond to our repeated requests.”
Topics discussed ranged from the health care to immigration to how Greg’s independence could help him reach out to both parties and fix what’s broken in Washington. The also found time to talk about the exciting success of the Kansas City Royals.
“This was a great opportunity not only to share my views, but to hear the concerns of my fellow Kansans,” Orman said afterward. “If elected, I plan to make regular appearances on these sorts of shows to give people the chance to ask me questions live and then have a real give-and-take on the issues that concern them.”
